Here it Is!!! THE RUGBY WORLD CUP

The eight quadrennial Rugby World Cup starts today in England from 18 September to 31 October. Twickenham Stadium in London will host the final. England was chosen to host the competition in July 2009, beating rival bids from Italy, Japan and South Africa. (Love this Google Doodle)

Of the 20 teams competing at the 2015 World Cup, 12 of them qualified by finishing in the top three places in their pools in the 2011 World Cup. The other eight teams qualified through regional competition. Of the 20 countries that competed in the previous World Cup in 2011, there was only one change – Uruguay replaced Russia.

Enough of the fine print it starts tonight in earnest with the host England taking on Fiji, im buzzing for it to start. Doesn't it feel like just yesterday it was 100 days away.

If I'm honest its not the most excited I've been for rugby's show piece event, but what I can say is that come match day I will be fully kitted out and so should you. It's the epitome of Rugby as a sport and once the first whistle blows all eyes will be on England. #JCBA.co.za will have a dedicated results and schedule page RWC15 Results & Scores  updated daily during the World Cup and you can just click on the link and be up to date. As well as previews of some big matches with predictions.
