The Tyne-Wear derby is a local North East derby between Newcastle United FC and Sunderland AFC. This weekend Newcastle's St James' Park hosts the tempestuous fixture and believe me it's not one you'd want to miss. It will be the 144th Derby between the two clubs and Newcastle lead with 53 wins to Sunderland's 45 and 45 have been draws. Sunderland could also win their third consecutive derby, not many Black Cats fans can say they lived to see that happen(in 1923). I’m sure there are a few of you that have never even heard of these two places because lets be honest they are two of the not so recognisable teams in the world but for the locals football is not just a game it's their entire life, without a doubt. Brendan Rodgers Liverpool FC host Roberto Martinez Everton FC in the most important derby in history(some say in decades) because when last was a Merseyside Derby played when both teams were above Manchester United and real contenders for the Champions League places even the English Premier League(EPL). Its been 28 years since a win for either side had such importance as it did way back on the 22nd February 1986 when Everton won 2-0 at Anfield. With that win they went eight points clear of Liverpool in the League, but at the end of the season Liverpool won the title and actually won the double in a first all-Merseyside FA Cup final later that season winning that 3-1(Rush 2, Johnston 1). Ok the Merseysider's will not be fighting it out for the EPL trophy just yet tonight nor for any cup trophy but it's for me much bigger than that. If you think this fixture is all about football you would be wrong, because it's about the man that has won everything against the man who is yet to win a thing. It's about one man with an unbelievable home record and one man that setting the wrong records at home. It's about the man that wanted it and the man that was given it. (Sir Alex job) Mourinho will feel it's the ideal time to face David's men especially at home. As the striking due of RVP and Rooney are set to miss out another positive is that Torres seems to have hit his El Nino form again. Not many positives for United besides the dynamic duo they have  Evra (knee), Young (shoulder), Nani  and Rafael (hamstring) and Fellaini (wrist) also ruled out for Sunday’s contest, with Evans (back), Ferdinand (knee) and Jones (knee) all expected to have 

David Moyes took over at Manchester United just six months ago and you don't have to tell him that its been tough. Not just because he was faced with the most challenging start to a campaign for his new club since the inception of the English Premier League (EPL) in 1992. In his first 11 EPL fixtures he played Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal all before mid November. I felt he did well to win 2 lose 1 and draw 1, I mean it could've been worse. He furthermore went on to break all the wrong records. Like teams coming to Old Trafford and winning for the first time in their history, like losing three consecutive matches and losing three in a row at Old Trafford (in a week) exiting the FA Cup in the thrid round to mention but a few. It brings one to the conclusion that Sir Alex knew what he meant when he said "I would like to remind you this club stood by me in bad times, the players and the staff. Your job now is to stand by the new manager." Some seem
